Editorial Interns (we are seeking two)
Because we are a small publication, we are seeking two confident,
talented, editorial interns to perform tasks ranging from research to
writing, depending on the intern’s strengths and interests. Our
interns are largely involved in the editorial process, and they will
get clips while working with At Home Tennessee.
While our internships are unpaid, we do offer academic credit. Interns
usually work 10-15 hours per week, though this can be adjusted to fit
individual university’s requirements. This is a great opportunity to
break into the magazine industry and build a portfolio!
Please send resume and up to three writing samples (clips do not have
to be published) to lphillips@athometn.com
Marketing Intern (seeking one)
Our marketing intern will assist the marketing team by creating
posters and other promotional materials, helping to handle
subscriptions, and brainstorming sales and promotional ideas.
Marketing interns will also promote At Home Tennessee at events. While
our internships are unpaid, we do offer academic credit. Interns are
required to work 10-15 hours per week, though this can be adjusted to
fit individual university’s requirements. Application Procedure:
Please e-mail resume to lphillips@athometn.com
Design Intern (seeking one)
Our graphics intern will help create and design advertisements, and
assist in any other graphics-related aspects of the magazine, such as
help with the layout, etc.
While our internships are unpaid, we do offer academic credit. Interns
usually work 10-15 hours per week, though this can be adjusted to fit
individual university’s requirements.
Please send resume and any work samples you might have to lphillips@athometn.com
