Can my ad be produced by At Home Tennessee?
Yes. Digital images should be provided with a resolution of 300 dpi along with company logos and contact information. If an ad is produced by a member of the At Home Tennessee advertising staff, a $65 production charge may be incurred which includes 2 revisions. Every revision thereafter will be charged $35.
What is included in the production of my ad?
Producing an ad may include: scans, staff photography, photo retouching, stock photography and professional photography (as determined).
Can I use images from the internet?
No. It is our policy that we do not use images from the internet due to the fact that they are of low resolution. It is also illegal to download images from the internet without written permission from the image owners.
Can you use a scanned image?
Yes, but At Home Tennessee is not responsible for the quality of photos scanned or from images reproduced from printed materials.
How long are my materials on file?
Materials are held for a maximum of thirty (30) days after most recent use. Unless advertiser requests that materials be returned, materials will be destroyed.
Should I send the fonts used in my camera-ready ad?
Yes. The font library used by the At Home Tennessee staff is very extensive, but we may not use certain fonts with which you created your ad.
How should I submit my ad?
All ads should be submitted digitally, whether the ad is submitted via e-mail to our advertising coordinator, dropped off at our offices or mailed on a CD-ROM.
By what date should I have my ad submitted?
Ads should be submitted by the second Thursday of every month.
What happens if I miss the artwork deadline?
If there is going to be a problem meeting the deadline, please contact our advertising coordinator as soon as possible. Once deadline is missed without notice, there is a possibility of being charged $15 for every day the artwork is late.
Why do I have to approve my ad?
We here at At Home Tennessee strive to make sure that the quality of every ad is of high resolution and has correct contact information.
Will an ad I ran in another publication work for At Home Tennessee?
Unfortunately no. Each publication's advertisements have different dimensions than those of At Home Tennessee. When we try to use ads from different publications, images become distorted and hard to read in the space allotted. You may contact the publication in which the ad ran and ask them to resize the ad to the correct dimensions.
Can an ad that ran in At Home Tennessee be used in another publication?
Yes. However, advertisers wishing to use an ad created by a member of the At Home Tennessee staff for use in other publications must request permission and pay a usage fee 15% of the advertising rate.
What charges may occur other than my initial ad rate?
You may be charged a $65 flat rate production fee, which includes 2 revisions. For every revision thereafter there will be a $35 charge. Materials that come in after the artwork deadline may be subject to a $15 per day fee.
Can I cancel my insertion?
Cancellations should be submitted in writing to the Publisher before the closing date. Insertions may not be cancelled after the published closing date and cancellations received after the closing date will not be accepted.
What happens if there was a mistake in my ad?
If an error in advertising occurs and is the responsibility of the At Home Tennessee staff, Publisher shall provide one of the following (according to the type of error that occurred) to "make-good" on the ad: 1)placement of a "corrected" ad in the next available issue; 2) alteration of invoice by reducing production charges.
Why does my ad have the word "advertisement" printed on top?
Any copy that resembles editorial material, in the opinion of At Home Tennessee, shall have the word "advertisement" published at its discretion.
